Outlook 2016 MAC does not allow to export data files anymore, which in fact seems to be huge disadvantage of the new version. I need to store and safe Outlook data on a monthly/yearly basis for business reasons and also like to start with empty folders on 1st January without having saved the data before. Time machine backup isn´t exactly the right option as it integrates all data in the backup without much chance to recover Outlook data only or to refer to specific files to cover a month or year (maybe I am wrong.). My question: Is there any possibility to store or export Outlook 2016 MAC data? I´d appreciate some input and advise. I use a Utility called Default Folder.
You set up a Folder and assign it to a Given application or the computer in General Then after you setup everything When you in Outlook and do ⌘-S and a window opens you select the folder you created and then hit ⌘-S again and it save the message. Its shareware but cost is reasonable and it works very well. I've used it for about 10-15 Years. Just Google the name Default folder which will give you the website. The Fellow that designed fixes bug quite fast if any come up though it been relatively bug free over the years Note: The software recommended, is recommended by me only.
